At the Morgenstern Youth Section and the Jugendhaus,

Young people are working together to renovate an old house in the nature-rich Kunisaki area.

We have a dormitory where you can live.

Through communal living, students become aware of their own mental challenges, learn practical ways to live in relationship with others, and develop deeper human abilities.

About the Program

At the Jugendhaus, a wide variety of classes are offered, including organic farming incorporating biodynamic farming methods, classes on Japanese culture and life, various artistic activities such as painting and singing, and classes on getting to know society and oneself.

Agriculture

Japan, one of the world's leading producers of pesticides, faces some very severe challenges, including a low self-sufficiency rate and a decline in the farming population due to aging.

At the Jugendhaus, we practice farming on a daily basis in order to change these things with our own hands and become self-sufficient.
