CONCEPT
There are no children in need. There are children in need.
Adults who cannot recognize the wonderful and diverse ways in which children can be, and who see them as troublesome children, live as false selves, trying to conform to society's evaluations, and, with good intentions, encourage children to become "people who benefit society." Valley of the Wind is not about raising "children for society," but rather about creating a "society for children," in which adults must question themselves and learn to recognize their own goodness as they are. In other words, it is also a place of learning for adults to become able to exist as part of children's environment.
*Children who have physical and mental abnormalities (not children, but problems with the environment for children today)
These days, it is said that children are no longer seen playing in the community, and there are very few opportunities for children to interact with each other in the community.
There are an increasing number of children who can play with their same graders but cannot play with older or younger students.
Also, there are many children who cannot play without cards or games. And in today's world, where children are raised in environments where they are surrounded by busy adults,
If children's play in nature and their freedom are restricted too much, their motivation will be stifled and they will no longer be able to control their own behavior and emotions.
In this environment, children are not able to develop as they should naturally, and the number of children with "developmental disabilities" is increasing. These environmental issues are undermining the abilities of all children living today.
At Valley of the Wind, we aim to create an environment that allows children to regain their natural development and build the foundation for human development, not as a task for children but as an adult.
